2026 Asian Designers’ Night & ADF Top 100 Asian Design Cities Awards Ceremony Successfully Concludes in Kunming

On the evening of March 20, 2026, during the grand opening of the “2025 Design Industry Conference & 2026 ADF Asian Design Forum,” the much-anticipated highlight and core IP event—the 2026 Asian Designers’ Night and the 2026 ADF Top 100 Asian Design Cities Awards Ceremony—came to a successful close at the Kunming Yun’an International Conference Hall.

A Grand Opening

At 9:00 a.m. on March 20, the Kunming Yun’an International Conference Center was filled to capacity. With over 2,000 attendees, the venue buzzed with an enthusiastic atmosphere. The conference and forum officially kicked off to the stirring sound of the Chinese national anthem.

Mr. Luo Zhengjiang, founder of the conference and forum and founder of Tianwen Media, took the stage first, delivering a warm and passionate opening speech. Representing the guiding institutions of the event, Professor Wang Shengjie (Keat Ong) from Singapore, former chairman of APSDA (Asia Pacific Space Designers Association), and Mr. Wang Gelian, current chairman of the Asian Design Cities Alliance and president of the Dalian Interior Design Industry Association, also delivered addresses. Their speeches set a professional and international tone for the entire event.

A Packed Day of Insights

On the very first morning and afternoon, the conference maintained a compact yet fulfilling pace, hosting 14 speeches and launch events, 5 forums, and 1 press conference. Numerous industry experts, scholars, and designers gathered to engage in in-depth discussions and exchanges on hot topics, cutting-edge trends, and innovative concepts within the design industry, offering attendees a true feast of ideas.

The Main Event: Asian Designers’ Night

By 7:00 p.m., the main attraction of the conference and forum—the 2026 Asian Designers’ Night and the 2026 ADF Top 100 Asian Design Cities Awards Ceremony—officially commenced.

Following that, the organizing committee presented Honorary Advisor and Industry Advisor certificates to nearly 30 distinguished guests from across China.

International Judge Appointments

As a key IP of the Design Industry Conference | ADF Asian Design Forum, the event formally invited nine international judges for the ADC Asian Design Competition. The conference founders, President Luo Zhengjiang and President Wang Gelian, presented appointment letters to:

  • Professor Wang Shengjie (Keat Ong) – Singapore, and Huang Jiancheng – China, as Co-Chairs of the ADC Asian Design Competition Jury Committee
